Lama Tsongkhapa was a renowned Tibetan Buddhist teacher and philosopher who founded the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism. He was born in the Amdo region of Tibet and was recognized as a prodigious child with extraordinary intelligence and spiritual potential. Lama Tsongkhapa received a comprehensive education in various fields of knowledge, including Buddhist philosophy, astrology, medicine, poetry, and rhetoric.
