White Tara is a prominent figure in Tibetan Buddhism, and she is considered to be one of the most important bodhisattvas (enlightened beings) in the Mahayana tradition. She is also known as "The Mother of Liberation" and is revered for her compassion, wisdom, and ability to bestow long life, healing, and prosperity. White Tara is depicted as a young and beautiful woman with a peaceful expression, dressed in white robes and adorned with jewels. She has seven eyes, which symbolize her ability to see the suffering of all beings and respond with compassion. She is often shown seated on a lotus throne, with one of her feet resting on a smaller lotus flower. White Tara is associated with the quality of compassion, and she is said to embody the feminine energy of nurturing and care. She is considered to be a protector against fear, illness, and negative emotions, and her practice is believed to help alleviate physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering. One of the most distinctive aspects of White Tara's iconography is the fact that she has seven eyes. Her two regular eyes represent her ability to see the world with clarity and understanding. She also has a third eye on her forehead, which represents her insight into the nature of reality. The other four eyes are on her palms and the soles of her feet, which symbolize her constant awareness and readiness to help all beings in need.

White Tara has often invoked in prayers and meditation practices, and her mantra is "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Mama Ayur Pune Gyana Puntim Kuru Soha." This mantra is believed to help bring about healing, long life, and spiritual realization.
